Destiny Worship Center
Brief History:
Destiny Worship Center is the worship arm of Destiny Ministries
International. This worship facility opened its doors for its maiden service on
February 27th, 1994 with only 4 members in attendance. These four were: Bishop
Titus Mbai, his wife first lady; Jaminah Mbai and their two sons Steve and
Kevin. They were 5 and 2 ½ years respectively.
In the last 15 years the church has grown to hundreds of registered
members and has given birth to other congregations in our nation Kenya and
abroad. Bringing the message of hope salvation and healing to thousands of men
and women across the globe. Today, this same church is the pride of our city
Thika, Kenya and an inspiration to hundreds of other congregations in our
country.
Recently, this same congregation has given birth to our sister church; the City
Chapel, just a mile from the main sanctuary which is currently hosting the
leading 6:00 am and noon (lunch hour church meeting) in the city with a daily
attendance of over 250 people in attendance. On top of many other activities
going on in the main sanctuary and sister church; the City Chapel, Destiny Worship Center runs a 24 hour prayer
mountain which is open to intercessors and prayer warriors from all regions all
over the nation free of charge, 24/7, 365 days a year. It has become a ministry
by itself. This facility has separate halls of prayer for men and women as well
as separate shower rooms and restrooms.
Every single day of the week you’ll find
men and women, young and old, season intercessors and beginners and special
teams from high schools, colleges and universities praying. Some come for 3 to
40 days of prayer and fasting. Once again this is done free of charge to those
who come to seek God or direction for their lives. I daily thank God for all the
faithful members of Destiny Worship Center, who give generously so that those
who desire to seek the face of God can do so free of charge. We take this early
opportunity to invite you to our Destiny Worship Center services and we promise
you will not leave the same.

8 “ Will a man rob God?
Yet you have robbed Me!

‘ In what way have we robbed You?’
In tithes and offerings.

For you have robbed Me,
Even this whole nation.
10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
That there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this,”

And pour out for you such blessing
That there will not be room enough to receive it.
11 “ And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes,
So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground,
Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,”
